Hello, there!

My name is Zane. I am florist, based in Riga, Latvia where I am originally from. My creative studio is based in Grīziņķalns, a small quarter in Riga, where locals call me -  The Flower girl :) I love it!  

At my studio, I am holding workshops for kids and adults. I really do enjoy teaching! I am also selling cut flowers, plants and creating flower arrangements for various occasions. Building community around my flower world is so so important to me.

More or less, I am self tough florist and decorator. I read a lot about floristry, plants (Mum helps a lot with this!) and I continue to learn from my fellow colleagues and, of course, from my mistakes:)

While flowers and nature have always been part of my personality, for more than 10 years I have worked for European Commission and Parliament in Brussels. I know! Crazy! 

But I am so grateful for this chapter of my life, for all the people I have met along and for all the life lessons received.  And, yes, I have Bachelors degree in Event and Venue Management from University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom.

As a Gemini, I can't sit still :)  I am constantly refurbishing my studio, looking for a better ways to arrange my space, inventory and flowers - I do have a lot of stuff! But I love it!    It is part of my personality and who I am :)
